I'm an interior designer and I specified this Kouvr bar for a client's home entertainment space. I was genuinely terrified about the concrete top cracking during shipping. I've ordered concrete planters online that arrived in pieces, and this was a four-inch thick, full-width concrete countertop traveling across the country. The packaging was incredible. The bar arrived in a custom-built wooden crate with the concrete top secured in its own compartment with high-density foam padding on all six sides. The top itself was wrapped in multiple layers of protective film and had corner guards. When I opened it, the concrete was pristine. No cracks, no chips, no scratches. The matte finish was flawless. I've now had the bar for six months and the concrete has held up beautifully. I've accidentally knocked it with bottles, set down heavy ice buckets, and once dropped a full cocktail shaker from about six inches up. Not a mark. The fiber reinforcement inside the concrete is clearly doing its job. If you're worried about concrete being fragile, this is engineered concrete, not decorative garden concrete. I was so worried about this purchase and now I can't imagine my home without it.

I bought this bar for my husband's 50th birthday. He's a whiskey collector and had been storing his bottles in a kitchen cabinet like a college student.
