I almost didn't buy this light because I thought another gadget would just end up in the drawer. My cart sat with it for a week until my dark kitchen counter finally annoyed me enough to click buy. The box arrived and I peeled the backing, stuck the mount under my cabinet, and snapped the magnetic light bar on in maybe thirty seconds total. I was WORRIED the magnet would be weak and the light would fall off my fridge onto the floor. The magnetic backing on this thing is no joke, it grabs metal with this really satisfying solid thunk and the rotatable mount clicks firmly into the bracket. I have had it on my refrigerator for two months now, opening and closing the door multiple times a day, and the light has not budged a single millimetre. The 350 lumens on full brightness is genuinely enough to light my entire kitchenette. If you are scared it will fall off, the magnet is legit.

I posted a video of me swiping the touch bar to change the light from cool to warm on my desk setup and it got way more attention than I expected. Three coworkers messaged me the next day asking for the link because they wanted one for their home offices. My brother came over, saw the magnetic mount on my shelf, and ordered one from his phone before he even finished his coffee. My mom then asked for one for her reading nook after she saw my brother's. This light accidentally turned my whole family into ambient lighting people.

The Maglite was a want not a need so I kept saying no. I work from home and needed better desk lighting. This thing provides ambient light without taking up space since it floats. The LED bulb is rated for ***** hours, basically never burns out. The levitation is strong, I bumped the desk and it stayed stable. My boss saw it on our video call and asked where to get one. Just buy it. You will find yourself staring at it instead of working.

I am not a gadget guy usually. My desk was boring and I wanted something unique. The Maglite has adjustable brightness from soft nightlight to bright enough to read by. The magnetic field is completely silent, no buzzing like cheaper levitation products. The levitation engages automatically when you plug it in. My wife rolled her eyes when she saw the box. Then she watched it float and said okay that is actually really cool. If you are hesitating, dont. It is a conversation starter that never gets old.
